Runner's Porridge

Place nuts in a large bowl and sprinkle with sea salt. Add enough filtered water to cover the nuts by at least 1 inch. Cover and soak overnight. Drain the nuts and rinse 2 or 3 times, until the water runs clear. Put the nuts in a food processor or high-speed blender. Add banana, coconut milk and spices. Process until smooth.

 

Pour the porridge into a saucepan and cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, for 8 minutes or until thick. Serve sprinkled with raisins.
