Recipes that taste delicious and

make you feel good! 


Trout stew

1 cup of squash cubed
2 celery stalks
1 onion
2 large chopped tomato
2 chopped celery stalks
1 garlic clove
1 chopped pepper and 2 cups of spinach (measured before cooked)
2 packets of splenda
3 fillets of trout

Add all ingreadients together. Cook over medium heat and let stew for 10 min, then turn down heat to low and let sit for another 10 min.

Turkey Chili

1 tsp. coriander 
1 tsp. cumin 
Chili powder 1-4 tbs. (Make it as spicy as you like) 
¼ tsp. salt 
1 can of black beans 
1 pkg. of lean ground turkey 
3 celery stalks 
Spinach and any other green veggie you like 
1 onion 
2 minced garlic cloves 
1 can of tomatoes or 4 diced tomatoes.

You can use another recipe if you like. To feed the family, double or triple the recipe.


Curry Chicken

4 chicken breast 
1tsp. minced garlic 
1 tsp. salt 
½ cup of chopped tomatoes 
½ cup of onion 
1 tbsp. vegetable oil 
3-4 tbsp. curry powder 
3 cups of spinach 
1 cup of green beans

Season chicken with garlic and salt and pepper marinate for 1 hour. Heat oil in a skillet Mix in curry with ¼ cup of water until smooth then add to oil Add chicken and stir to coat in curry allow water to dry out. (Stir for about 10min) 

Add tomatoes and onion and cook for about a minute. Stir in ¼-1/2 cup of water .When finished add in 3 cups of spinach and 1 cup of green beans and steam then serve.

Turkey Burger

Lean ground turkey meat 
1 onion 
2 garlic cloves crushed and chopped 
¼ tsp. curry 
1tsp of corn starch or 1 egg 
½ apple finely chopped 
Salt and pepper

Bake/BBQ or Pan Fry with a little oil


Lentil Stew

2 can of lentils 
1 large can of crushed tomatoes 
4 chopped celery 
1 bag of spinach 
1 onion 
2 small carrots 
2 heads of broccoli 
1 chopped garlic cloves 
1 tsp. of grated ginger 
1 tbsp. of curry powder (optional) 
1-2 tsp of cumin 
1-2 tbsp of Bragg’s soy sauce 
Salt and pepper

Mix together. Add broccoli and celery last. Let stew for approximately 20 min on medium heat. You may add other spices.
